Established in 2000 The Oromocto and Area Sports Wall of Fame has hououred more than 40 athletes and builders in the greater Oromocto area.  The organizing committee works throughtout the year on various fundraising and promotional endeavours in order  to recognize and honour the names and achievements of those athletes, teams and builders whose athletic endeavours have brought prominence and distinction to themselves and to the Oromocto & Area communities and of those who have made a major contribution to the development and advancement of sports in the Oromocto & Area communities.
